I have created a FAQ section. If for some reason you question is not answered here, please e-mail me, call me or ask me when you drop off or pick up your child.
Do I have to bring my child to the classroom door in the morning? Yes, for the safety of your
child. An older sibling may drop him/her
off, but he/she must be in at least 2nd grade. If your child attends Eagle’s Nest Before
& After Care, they will drop off/pick up your child.
Can I volunteer whenever I want in my child's class? Yes, as long as you have filled out a volunteer packet from the office
and have a valid background check. Once you have been approved you can come as
often as you like, as long as your child does not become affected by it. We
also do not have volunteers in the classroom until September. This allows us to
get our rules and routines down and have the kids comfortable with us.
Do I have to attend Parent Teacher Conferences? Yes, at PEC we usually have 4 face to face Parent-Teacher Conferences a
year, the 2nd and 4th being mandatory. During that time we create an ILP, (individual
learning plan), you have to attend and sign the form.
If we go on vacation during school time, does my child need to get work? Yes, it is a grade on their report card. If you child is going to be
absent please let me know, so I can provide the work they are missing.

each day. He/she also needs a healthy snack for afternoon snack.Teachers do not proved snacks. Please do not
send in candy
or messy items for snack. Good suggestions are crackers, granola bars, an apple,
grapes, cookies. What are the school hours? School begins at 8:00.Students may come as early as 7:40 and do
bell work until 8:00.If your child will
be tardy, please go to the office before coming to the classroom to get a tardy
slip, as attendance is marked at 8:00.School
ends at 2:40, with the exception of early release days which are marked on your
school calendar. What should my child bring each day? A backpack, with their name clearly labeled on it, a
lunch box, or lunch money, snack and a water bottle and their Take home folder.
During cooler weather they should wear a jacket. Please write your child's name
in the jacket, it makes it easier for us to identify the owner. A backpack,

calendar to communicate behavior to you each day. Purple means an absolutely PERFECT day, green means great, yellow
means your child had a warning, orange means had several reminders and had a
time out, red means their behavior was severe and had a long time out or sent
